O+ is a completely community run, grassroots, “band-aid” solution to inaccessible health care for uninsured artists, bartering the art of medicine for the medicine of art.

The O+ Festival was founded in Kingston, NY in 2010 by a small group of artists, musicians, a primary care doctor and a dentist. The O+ Festival (pronounced o-positive) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing community well-being by connecting musicians, artists and health & wellness providers in weekend-long celebrations.

Across the country, O+ Chapters host annual festivals that integrate art and wellness; musicians play concerts and artists gift the host city with murals and installations while health and wellness providers donate their services to the creative participants. The general public, via donation, gets all access wristbands to view and interact with art, hear bands play live music and participate in a variety of wellness classes.

The Healing Clinic is absolutely honored to take part in this year’s O+ festival in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. We will be there to engage with the community during the festival this Saturday and Sunday.

We will have a table set up this Saturday from 12 PM- 6 PM at 1430 W 18th St., Chicago, IL and will be handing out freebies along with plenty of good information about the Illinois Medical Cannabis Pilot Program. Our Patient Advocates will be there to help patients who qualify, get successfully registered as a cannabis patient in Illinois.

As part of this amazing event, The Healing Clinic will be hosting a 2 hour medical cannabis seminar at an O+ Pop Up Gallery located at Pilsen Pharmacy– 1868 S Blue Island Ave, Chicago, IL- this Saturday, September 5 from 4 PM- 6 PM.

On Sunday, September 6 from 3:15 PM- 4 PM,  we will also be hosting an interactive discussion about the therapeutic benefits of cannabinoids, at the National Museum of Mexican Art– 1852 W. 19th St., Chicago, IL . RSVP HERE FOLKS.
