Hey folks remember that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month!

Last week, The Healing Clinic had the honor of sponsoring an event at The Godfrey Hotel to help Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our cosponsors, Imerman Angels and Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force, are two amazing organizations that provide a variety of services for cancer patients. Imerman Angels is a group that provides personalized connections that enable one-on-one support among cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers. They are an awesome resource for anyone that is affected by cancer and wants to get involved in a positive and supportive community of people who understand one another. Patients can request a mentor right on their website and they offer creative ways for people to get involved in their initiative. Check out their volunteer opportunities for fun and rewarding work offered throughout the year! The Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force is another very special organization that offers support services for patients. Their focus is the issue of breast cancer care inequalities in Chicago. They work tirelessly to improve the quality of care delivered in hospitals and clinics for all women and also advocate for increase funding for the state’s IBCCP program, which provides free mammograms and pap tests for uninsured women. Get involved in breast cancer Awareness Month by attending one of their community events! The entire event was hosted by Network and Social, a company that specializes in connecting professionals and entrepreneurs at their fun and unique business networking events. They are one of the fastest growing face-to-face business networking organizations in the country, reaching over 100,000 business professionals and collegiate entrepreneurs from various industries throughout the country. They host monthly networking events and charitable fundraisers which cater to business professionals and social enthusiasts.
