The Illinois Department of Public Health recently released a a “Top 10″ list of tips for successfully registering for the medical cannabis program.

The list answers questions we are frequently asked by folks, regarding the complicated application process. We are happy to report that the state has provided this tool to further help patients understand the steps required in order to obtain a medical cannabis card.

About 18,400 people have started the patient registration process and of those, about 2,500 have submitted some part of the application. So far, only 1,600 patients have been approved for the program.
